When former Chicago Bear lineman William “The Refrigerator” Perry sold his Super Bowl ring, he figured it was gone for good, but thanks to a 10-year-old boy, Perry and his priceless piece of jewelry have been reunited. Cliff Forrest pulled $8,500 out of his college fund to buy the ring back. He returned the ring to Perry while “The Fridge” was at an autograph session. “I Googled Mr. Perry and saw that he had a disease (Gullain-Barre syndrome) and had to sell it because of rough times,” Forrest said. He only played in one Super Bowl. I thought he would want it more than I did.” (Chicago Sun-Times, Fox News)
