About one-third of all tweets are written on a fourth-grade level, according to Time, which examined about 1 million tweets for the study.
Time admitted that, with just 140 characters to work with, it can be difficult to push a tweet above that grade level, but some do. Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga tweet at a fifth-grade level, while President Barack Obama tweets at the level of a seventh grader. (Time)
