A new study from the University of Michigan finds that 20 percent of high school seniors have engaged in binge drinking in the past two weeks. Half of those drinking students consumed an alarming 10 or more drinks in one evening.

“Students were drinking two or three times the typical binge drinking threshold,” says Megan Patrick, who led the study. “Consuming 10 or 15 drinks is a lot of alcohol, especially for a teenager.” (New York Daily News)
