Lots of 15-year-olds babysit for a little extra cash, but not all 15-year-olds have a babysitting business so big they need to hire a CEO.
Noa Mintz of New York City founded Nannies by Noa in 2012. The business now employs more than 100 babysitters and another 50 full-time nannies. However, with Noa going into high school with its demands, she doesn’t have the time she had in middle school to devote to her business. So, she hired 26-year-old Allison Johnson to oversee the company’s growth.
“It’s a very personal service that takes up a lot of your time,” Noa says. “I really wanted to focus on school, but I loved the business and realized people wanted to continue working with us; so I needed a CEO. We have a great working relationship, Allison and I.” (ABC News)
