Two Florida teens were banned from a homecoming court competition after they used condoms as a campaign prop.

The teens, Dalton Wiggs and Montana Fulkerson, were running to become Mulberry High School’s homecoming king and queen, and—as a campaign device—were handing out bags of candy with condoms placed inside. The condoms each had a sticker that read, “Let’s Wrap This Up.”

Wiggs and Fulkerson, who were running against 20 other couples, had hoped the condoms would draw attention. Unfortunately for them, the stunt drew the attention of district officials, who said the condoms were inappropriate and promptly banned the two from the contest. (Associated Press)
