Hasbro is making what you might call a game-changing move to its best-known board game—cutting one of its famous Monopoly tokens in favor of something a bit, well, different. What’s getting the axe? That’s up to Monopoly fans themselves to decide. Hasbro is asking people to go to its Monopoly Facebook page and vote for their favoritehttp://newsfeed.time.com/2013/01/09/which-monopoly-piece-would-you-vote-off-the-board/ token. The one with the least amount of votes will be trundled off Monopoly’s standard board in favor of a brand new token (which also can be voted on). It might be a helicopter or a robot, a cat or a guitar, or perhaps a diamond ring. What might get the boot? Well, the boot, for one. So far on Facebook, the sole-ful game piece is running neck-and-neck with the iron with just 6 percent of the vote. Both are ahead of the wheelbarrow, which may be unceremoniously wheeled away.
