Facebook says that it kicks off about 20,000 users a day because they’re underage. Facebook requires all of its users to be 13 or older, but that doesn’t stop many kids from lying about their age on their profiles—sometimes with permission from parents. ComScore, an organization that monitors Internet traffic, says that of the 153 million Facebook users who log onto the site monthly, 3.6 million are under the age of 12.
