Students at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., will have an opportunity to take a class called “The Sociology of Miley Cyrus: Race, Class, Gender and Media.” The class will use Cyrus as a lens through which to examine issues such as gender, race and fame, according to visiting assistant professor Carolyn Chernoff.
Students will not be graded, thankfully, on their twerking skills. No word as to whether those who complete the courses would receive celebratory foam fingers. (AP)
