Oscar Meyer has developed an app that can wake iPhone users to the irresistible scent of bacon.
This app isn’t for everybody, and we’re not just talking about vegans who most certainly would cry every morning at the scent of sizzling pig. No, Oscar Meyer
is holding a contest to determine who’ll get to try the app in its full bacon-smelling glory. (Prospective contestants can go to WakeUpAndSmellTheBacon.com for more information.)
Winners will receive a little scent-generating thingy they can stick into the bottom of their phones. Then, when the phone’s alarm goes off, it’ll jumpstart the scent generator and play the sound of sizzling bacon.
No word as to whether Oscar Meyer will provide refunds to those unfortunate users who, in a groggy early morning reverie, accidentally eat their phones. (Time)
