The early bird may get the worm, but the late-rising teen gets better grades. With numerous studies suggesting youth simply don’t get enough sleep, some Indiana schools have pushed their starting times an hour later to cater to their drowsy clientele. The results, officials say, have been dramatic. “They saw attendance go up,” said Bill Stancykiewicz, president and CEO of the Indiana Youth Institute. “They saw the grades improve.
