Twenty-seven-year-old Josh Duggar, one of the kids from TLC’s popular show “19 Kids and Counting,” has admitted to sexually molesting young girls—some of them his sisters—when he was 14 years old. On a Facebook post, Duggar said he “acted inexcusably,” underwent counseling and tried to make amends.

“I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life,” he wrote. “I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life.”

The revelation, and subsequent furor, has placed the Duggars’ TLC show in jeopardy. Though TLC has not officially cancelled “19 Kids and Counting,” it has pulled planned summer reruns, and several prominent advertisers have announced they’ll not support the program in the future.
