American subscribers to Netflix watched 5.1 billion hours of programming in the second quarter of 2014, according to The Diffusion Group. That’s around 581,806 years’ worth of television and movies watched collectively by Americans in three months.
The amount of Netflix we’re all watching is growing exponentially: Less than three years ago, that quarterly figure was 1.8 billion. That means Netflix use almost has tripled. (Reviewed.com)
