We all know teens and young adults spend a great deal of time staring at screens (i.e., smartphones, tablets, flat-screen televisions). According to Nielsen’s Audio Today Report, they also engage in a form of media that’s positively old school: radio.
According to the report, more than 90 percent of Millennials—about 65.2 million—listen to radio each week, spending more than 11 hours on average with the medium. Country music is the Millennial favorite, followed by contemporary pop and R&B. (Nielsen)
