Scandinavian furniture/meatball manufacturer IKEA has introduced a “Motivational Mirror” that displays positive thoughts to anyone looking at his or her reflections through it. Comments can range from “Magnificent beard!” to “Darling, your dress looks amazing!” to a wolf whistle.

The company decided to make the mirror after its own research found that 44 percent of people in Great Britain were critical of how they looked and 26 percent didn’t like looking at themselves in a mirror. (Time)
