Roe v. Wade, the landmark ruling that made abortion legal across the United States, is 35 years old—twice as old as some of the advocates hoping to see it overturned.

A 17-year-old California high-school student filed a lawsuit against her school recently, asking for the right to start a pro-life club. Another high schooler threatened a similar lawsuit in Virginia, which was rendered moot when the school relented.

Even many youth who aren’t starting pro-life clubs are down on Roe v. Wade. A 2003 Gallup poll found 72 percent of teens think abortion is morally wrong, and 32 percent believe abortion should be banned in all circumstances. In comparison, only 17 percent of adults believe abortion always should be illegal. (The Seattle Times)
